Some people might not actually understand, but the way fashion and clothes make me feel is quite exceptional. To me clothing is a part of life in so many ways – as a uniform and armour for the day, as a way of defining my identity, as a form of expression, as a quick-hit shopping cheer-up. So, if you are someone like me: totally hooked on photography, style, clothing, fashion, then you easily get me. Being a 90s kid, quite often I find myself being inspired by the 90s fashion. Most of the times, when I lack inspiration on how to put outfits together I look up some of my favorite old school fashion icons (old but gold) and always find unique ways on how to style a new outfit or how to express myself through it.
Well, since I find it quite cool how the style and trends of 20 years ago keep coming back, I felt like doing some photography research and sharing them with you, so we go through this resemblance together.
I went through some of my favorite brands’ campaigns of 1970s onwards, as: Gucci, Prada, Channel, Tommy Hilfiger, and some of my very preferred fashion icons as Ali Macgraw, Kate Moss, James Dean.
What do you guys think? Do you notice the resemblance of fashion between these years as well? Let me know what you think!
