“Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.”

I totally agree with the quote, always had, always will! J

Mmmm, these pictures are really intriguing, they instantly make me go back to Rome. I have visited Rome 5 or 6 years ago and had totally forgotten of its beauty. Luckily this time I stayed for a week and despite the work and meetings I had to attend, I also had plenty of time to visit and shop.

This is quite a long story, but to keep it short I’ll just focus on the main parts. I had my birthday 2 weeks ago and was brainstorming on celebration ideas. However, I didn’t know that I was going to Rome and only understood that a day before leaving. It seemed exciting and I just considered it as a birthday gift, haha. I still wanted to celebrate my birthday at home; so, I just switched it to a day before. It was so much fun and I am glad I had around all the people I wanted…we were just acting crazy and having fun.

The next morning I fly to the Roman beauty and spend a remarkably beautiful week there. As soon as I knew that I was going to Rome, the very first thing that popped in my head was: gelato. And I had to find THE gelato. Luckily and not surprisingly, I found it, and not only in one place but in almost every corner of  the city . So keep in mind guys, first thing you do in Rome: try that gelato! (I’d die for one right now).

As seen from the pictures, I got to visit the most attractive and interesting, historical places that Rome has to offer. Starting from Vatican Museum, Fontana di Trevi, Colosseum, etc, and all of these places were super interesting and had their extra ordinary history behind. Rome literally is an amazing city and it has a great number of attractions that won’t let you get bored, in the end, that is the reason why thousand of tourists walk around Rome every day, literally.

I shouldn’t forget also the part where I just laid down and chilled in my hotel. I had this amazing hotel with the swimming pool on the rooftop, and it was just beautiful. I could closely see Colosseum and other parts of Rome from the top, while tanning.. mhmhmh.

About the outfits: In the first pictures, an almost all blue outfit, I was wearing the H&M Blue long dress and H&M blue pants + ZARA flats. In the pool day I was wearing Yamamay bikini and the hat from H&M. The other day, the striped blouse from ZARA, the white skirt from Pull and Bear, and the grey New Balance  shoes.

This was a quick wrap of my Roman experience. For the next outfit inspiration don’t forget to check the blog, also to follow me on social networks, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. J
